TconDesktop now has properties that return the paths to all the special (shell)
folders and can read and restore the position of the desktop icons. Also, some previously private methods
have been made protected so they can be used by descendant classes.

DonationCoder.com and Borland announced a donationware programming contest
featuring Borland's C++ Builder RAD tool for Microsoft Windows. The contest runs for approximately three
months, from 10th April to 14th July. Over $15,000 in programming-related prizes will be awarded.
Borland announced today that on 3rd April 2006 it received a notice from The Nasdaq
Stock Market stating that Borland is not in compliance with Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(14) because it has not
timely filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended 31st December 31 2005.

Borland's chief executive has stressed his company's commitment to developers,
by promising to pass the soon-to-be divested tools business to a "caring" investor. Tod Nielsen told
EclipseCon attendees that Borland is screening companies who will invest in and drive the IDE business
forward, rather than looking for a "Lex Luthor" who will destroy products like Delphi and JBuilder.
