Issue #54 of the Pascal Newsletter has been published. This issue has two articles with step-by-step instructions on using .NET Assemblies as COM objects in Win32 programs and simple classes for managing your IP configuration. We'd like to thank all the authors who contributed articles or prizes for this issue.

These clases make it easy to use the Windows IP Helper API to retrieve and modify your TCP/IP settings. This update fixes a couple of bugs in the clases and the demo application.

Borland Open Sources JBuilder

Borland is releasing core code from its JBuilder IDE into the Eclipse open source community after a surprise drop in first-quarter sales. The company hopes to offset JBuilder's R&D expenses by putting the suite into Eclipse, where the open source community would - theoretically - drive API and feature improvements.
