Microsoft 'Opens' .NET as Broader Team Sport

Interbase / Firebird Database Name Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

A vulnerability has been reported in Firebird and Borland Interbase, which can be exploited to cause a DoS and potentially compromise a vulnerable system. The problem is due to a boundary error in the handling of database names and can cause a buffer overflow by passing a long database name when connecting.
