Updated Software: Widget v0.7

Useful tools that reside in the system tray. Functions in this preview release include: WhoAmI, IP configuration, delete recent docs older than a specific age or with no target, save / restore desktop icon positions, change screen resolution, change screen saver, toggle screen saver on / off, preview current screen saver, change wallpaper, change wallpaper display option, ping and synchronise clock as well as bug fixes. Updated Delphi Class: TconScreenSaveSettings v1.3

TconScreenSaveSettings can now preview the current screen saver. A memory leak has also been fixed.

Borland CEO Promises 'Caring' IDE Overlord

Borland's chief executive has stressed his company's commitment to developers, by promising to pass the soon-to-be divested tools business to a "caring" investor. Tod Nielsen told EclipseCon attendees that Borland is screening companies who will invest in and drive the IDE business forward, rather than looking for a "Lex Luthor" who will destroy products like Delphi and JBuilder.
