At this week's Microsoft Conference, eBay and Borland announced a
new relationship that will provide Borland developers with access to tools and resources for
creating Web services applications for the eBay and PayPal platforms.
The Delphi 8 HelpKit assists developers who have written applications
or components that extend the design-time functionality of specific Borland development products
to integrate their help files with Borland's.
Microsoft isn't the only vendor touting new products to the more

This public beta contains an updated dbrtl.dll for Delphi 7 and
resolves issues with both the XML Mapper and existing applications that have size mismatches
among the persistent field definitions and the underlying database schema.
Borland shareholders approved overwhelmingly Friday a proposal to
declassify the board of directors. The company said, however, it needed to put the issue before
shareholders again next year as an amendment to its incorporation papers rather than initiate
immediate changes.

of Delphi 7. This update fixes over 100 issues including many reported in Quality Central.
Borland is phasing out CodeWright, the editor the company acquired when
it bought Starbase Corp. in January 2003. They will continue to provide support and maintenance to
customers with existing contracts but will not renew them.
